Busy as a B.

Business: I've been so helpful at home lately that on Thursday, Mommy took me to help Daddy at work. Daddy's office is pretty neat, except for the holes in the ceiling. While I was there, I helped Daddy balance the business of bonds on his Magic Box. He's got a real neat set up and has two right together.

Blue and Green: Hannah did a fingerpaint for her Grammas on Mother's Day. I did one for my Nana. My Uncle Robbie and Aunt Silly Jilly have a new house that is all blue and green. I saw it and the walls were very plain. I told Mommy that they needed art on the walls. Today, since it finally stopped raining (!!!) Daddy and I made a painting for their house! We're not going to reveal the masterwork just yet. Maybe we can show it to you later hanging up in Aunt Silly Jilly's house!

Blowing Bubbles: On Friday, Mommy took me swimming to see George and his Mommy. His mommy showed us how to swim the backstroke together and George and I had fun sinking our mommies. It was hard work, all that swimming out in the sun and so eventually we had to take a break at adult swim and eat lunch! George and I shared a spoon! He's my sweetie and has hair that spikes up like mine. See?

Biting: I'm getting a new tooth (again!) It hurts sometimes. Biting on things makes it feel better. I bite anything. Mommy's fingers, Daddy's fingers, my ball, Belle. Belle REALLY doesn't like it when I bite her.

Bows: Am I not the cutest baby ever? I love bows!

Loose Lips Sink Sippy Cups

I declare victory! That's right people, on my fourth attempt at the sippy cup I wrested it from Mommy's hands, gave it a good once over and conquered the mysterious bottle with handles and a spout. Mommy couldn't have been any happier. Well, she could have been, but I am saving my dissertation for a rainy day. Later this afternoon, I even dragged the sippy cup into the Igloo and Nana and I shared! She's really nice to let me have my water. She didn't even try to have any!

Helping Mommy

Today, I helped Mom alot in the kitchen! She was very busy because one of Daddy's friends visited for dinner tonight! Paul was lots of fun and kept wanting to give me cheese. He said he once knew a dog who LOVED cheese. Anyway, he was very nice and I liked his cheese. But before he came, Mom had some work to do.

I helped Mom empty the dishwasher. It was pretty hard work for her. I just handed her the dishes.

Fixin' Stuff

Nana and Poppy came over this afternoon. We did some very exciting stuff. I waved to Nana and made my silly new laugh. I ate some of Nana's new recipes. Not the food. The recipes.
Poppy and I fixed the AC machine. That was very hard work. Don't let them fool you. I was a big help to Poppy during the process. First, I helped Poppy open the door. He tried to use the doorknob. I used "Open Sesame!" It is much easier.
After we had the doop open, Poppy and I figured out what the problem was. The mysterious red cup was in the way of the shiny stuff. We took out the red cup so we could touch the shiny cold stuff. The cup didn't taste good which meant that the AC was REALLY broken. I showed Poppy how to fix it and he told Mommy what to do if it breaks again, so I think we've got it covered now. I hope it doesn't get too hot again!

Better Late than Never?

I decided I should have a blog. All my friends do and besides people want to know what I'm doing with my life! I may be a little late joining this game but Mommy assures me that it is o.k. and that no one starts kindergarten without a blog.
Maybe later I'll have some pictures to put up. My Nana and Poppy are coming to visit and we always do something fun!
